About Me – Cees Alberts
I’m a radio amateur from The Netherlands with a full (F) license. Married with children; a boy and a girl, still in the school going ages.
Since I was a boy I was interested in the radio hobby. When I was young, I liked all CB radio stuff.
I didn’t do anything further with this until I was in my late thirties. Then I decided to get my radio amateur license after a friend of mine got me interested again in the radio hobby.
In 2011 I did my Novice license exam in the Netherlands and got my Novice HAM radio license (CEPT) in the beginning of 2012.
Nine months later, in september 2012 I did the Full License Exam (CEPT) and also passed this and got my Full HAM radio license (new callsign PA1CA). Read all about it here.
My main goals in the HAM Radio hobby at the moment are making or finding the “perfect” compromise antenna and learning morse code (CW).
